Yesterday we went to the finish line of La Toussuire. This time to watch the PROs finishing the stage we did on Sunday. The crowd was big and it was following the road non stop during most of the mountain. You could hear the people cheering Pierre Rolland from a distance and the after Wiggo passed, the time for Cadel seemed like an eternity! Also caught Laurens Ten Dam passing with a respectful time but appearing half dead (even more then usual). Also saw Cavendish passing way after the first cyclsts and he looked like he was suffering quite a lot. It serves as some consolation. Tyler Farrar seemed that would start crying any minute...
The day before we went thru the climbs once again and I took some pictures of the Col du Glandon. Take a look after the jump. |
Ontem voltei ao topo do La Toussuire. Dessa vez para assistir os PROs fazendo a etapa que fizemos no domingo. A multidão estava grande e seguia a estrada por onde os profissionais passariam por quase toda a montanha. Dava para escutar a multidão aplaudindo Pierre Rolland de uma boa distância e depois que Wiggo passou, o tempo para Cadel passar pareceu uma eternidade! Também vimos Laurens Ten Dam passando com um tempo respeitável mas parecendo meio morto. Cavendish terminou beeem depois dos primeiros ciclistas e parecia estar sofrendo bastante... Serve de alguma consolaçao. Tyler Farrar parecia que ia chorar a qualquer minuto...
No dia anterior voltei a algumas das montanhas de carro e fiz fotos novas, principalmente do Col Du Glandon. Dá uma olhada depois do pulo. |
